LOL um yea - for some reason Bugsy's behavior at their office is the worst ever.  He just goes and meets whomever he wants me in tow and they have a 5 ft counter the receptionists sit behind and everytime we are there he goes up on his hind legs and leans over to say hi Embarrassed

The surgeon 'gets' that slow and Bugsy are like oil and water LOL  I even told him about our 'slipups' in the last couple of weeks.  post x-ray they caused a good laugh

And thank you all so much - Candace I saw your post on FB and I know millions of dogs have been through this and survive - but Bugsy is 'different'.  Getting him exercising again quickly and fully is essential to his sanity which means it is essential to our sanity.  I got super worried on Sunday night that I have been pushing him too hard, very happy that is appears I did not!

Just for like 10 minutes at a time and increasing but good golly miss molly it will so nice to not have him on leash Big Smile

I'm wondering how you're going to re-contain him after only 10 minutes. Stick out tongue

I'll be out there with my egg timer, "OK buddy time for going slow on leash now" bwa ha ha ha ha ha

I am so relieved - the worst part is there is a strong likelihood that we will have to go through this again for his other knee.  Structurally his legs are too straight and that is the number 1 indicator for CCL/ACL tears but for now his other leg is strong and fine and I am doing all that I can to understand and implement how we can protect that other leg.

It will be joyous to see him run again.  He tried a post poop zoomie tonight and he gives me this look like "lady let go of that leash and I won't hurt ya!"
