Having seen Logan work in Obed and the conformation show ring, I gotta say..... he is a fantastic dog and anyone would be very lucky to have one of his puppies....

someone better come put a block on all GSP rescue sites - I'm going over the deep edge...............

There is Nate in NC, Trevor in WVA and now Sonny in TN

yes I want a male and although pups appeal to me greatly I'd take a dog older than 2 because they have a harder time finding homes

I have been desperate for one for over a year and we got close in June but missed out

As for DH he isn't the movable type LOL - and I don't think the $3k knee surgery has helped the Bugsy needs a brother cause Tongue Tied

This isn't going to help but I know of a german shorthaired pointer (GSP) in IN that needs a home.

Awww thanks, Paige!! I'm pretty smitten with him myself... but, that could be extreme bias!! :)  And we all know Logan loves him some Gracie and Aunty Paigie! lol

Karen -- it's fair, trust me.  Logan babies taste like candy and do no wrong. They come home potty trained and speaking English.  Don't forget about the maid service......

     ((((hehehehehe))))

Sold, send me one, ASAP!  LOL  Karen, did you know that there is nothing softer to the touch than a Weim puppy's ears?  It's true......You really should consider one when it's time to get another dog.

Long, floppy doberpup ears are pretty soft......

    See, Karen....... Jackie agrees!

(((LOL))) Janice -- so, should I add you to the list, too? hehehe

Amanda - Dobermans do have nice soft ears, they should, they used Weims as an ingredient to make them.  hehehehehe

Oh ladies you are all so very helpful - NOT!!!

First I am not worthy of a Logan pup, I would LOVE to be, but I am not.  however the maid service has me rethinking!

Lani KNOWS how much I love weims BUT my only real chance for a second dog is a GSP because DH is in love with them.  Once realizing that my best chance for a sibling for beastie was a GSP I changed my focus.  It is a hard call in my book between weim or gsp.  LOVE and desire them both.

Amanda I do like dobies too but I really have my heart set on GSP or weim.  Should I ever get one I will be working them on birds right from the start, I am totally hooked

and once again thanks for helping me want a second dog more!

Oh that's right you were all supposed to be telling me to forget about it Hmm

I had in a moment of weakness emailed that breeder in IN and he has four male liver pups ready just about the time B will be cleared for activity.  I am working very hard on making the list of negatives

Wait, what's wrong with that option?

Once Bugs recovers, I think a puppy could work well.  I was totally overprepared when I got Nikon, and he's my first puppy.  Besides being let out more often and HOWLING for 7 hours straight the first 3 nights home, he really wasn't much more work than the other two, just like having another, louder mouth to feed.  I never segregated him from my adults like all the SchH people told me I had to.  He was rolling and wrestling Coke from day one and Coke was so good with him, still is.  4 days after I got him, I went on a 5 day road trip to the huge Sieger show and took him along.  By then he had settled in his crate, even slept 8 hours through the night in the hotel room with strange dogs and strange people.  Really the only inconvenience to my dogs was slightly less space in our den, being occupied by his puppy pen, and the inconvenience to me was paying someone to come play with him while I was at work (but she did it for half of what the "professional" dog walkers charge).  I already take my dogs to lots of places and training, so socializing him wasn't a big chore.  In fact he got to come to all the "non-dog" places and meet my family and friends who will tolerate a little puppy in their apartment but not my big dogs.  At 8 weeks he was smarter and easier to train than Coke, lol.
