Oh! Bugsy had surgery!!??

WOW, I'm so glad he is doing well Karen... I hope his knee gets better fast and I command you (lol) to give him extra love from me and Thor. Sorry I haven't been on here lately (I got the H1N1 last week) but all my best wishes and good vibes are right there with you.

We have a ton of meds to give him and the first 10-12 days he is restricted to potty breaks and his room

BUGS!! BUDDY!!!   Tell yur Mom ta go ta tha stor an get BRUNSWIGGIE.  It's yum stuff -- man, it's slippery an goez down SO EEEE-ZZZZ.  Mom sez you kin get it any grosh-ree store.  Oscar Myer (the hot dog folks) makes it an so does bunches of other ones.  It's liv-ur sauce-age.  yummy stuff but man, it lets mom moosh pills in GRATE.  An hey -- liver's good fur us rite???  YUM STUFF.

 Milk it Bugs -- a gentle tail thump is awesome (and I don't even gots a tail -- just a tail nubbin) but work on that pathetic look.  It rocks.  Next mess-ige we'll talk about YOGURT.  That's yum stuff too.  It's a Pro-botic -- but I tell ya -- hold out fur the good stuff.  Ya wants a PINK one buddy -- hold out fur the GOOD stuff.

 BRUNSWIGGIE; yummmy!!!!!  Doo like Billy zez and milk it fur all it's wurth. Dis is antie Jessie wishin' youse a speedy recovery, but not too speedy so's ya can get lots of the good stuff.

I am thrilled to report that he finally peed.  Definitely part camel this dog.

 - he went off with the vet tech as if he were heading for a playdate - gulp little does he know..........

That's what our dog Shelby did, each time we left her for her radiation for the week. Better to go willingly though, than having to watch them drag the dog back with their foot brakes on.  Happy to hear the Bugsy is home and doing great.

 So glad to read this! Glad he's home and doing good. Good thoughts for quick healing and an understanding Bugsy on needing to be calm!

I'm so happy the surgery went well, that nothing untoward was found and Bugsy is safely home. He looks very relaxed zzzing in his crate. Plenty of good thoughts for the continuation of his recovery.

Glad his little date with the vet went well. You can do this Bugs!
