**Update He's HOME!!!**Lost Alaskan Husky, I-90 East, Enterprise rest area, (outdoorshchik)

I was so glad to come home tonight and hear this wonderful news! I hope Godzilla makes a quick and complete recovery. Good work by everyone getting the word out and especially the angel lady who caught him!!!

nymaureen .... no not far at all. She was just about to leave to go home after the second day of searching, was pulling off, and out of the corner of her eye, saw him sitting next to the overpass near the rest area with the saddest/dejected/"my life has crashed down around me" look. He appears to have crisscrossed the area and following a clear radius of no more than two miles of looking for his family.

Everyone else - thanks so much for the words of support. His owner is relieved and incredibly happy and she's comfortable with him coming to us for the winter (of course I gave her the opintion of me shipping him to her after this scary story). I'll update you all to know he's healthy later today ... I have a feeling he'll be fine, I'm grateful she chased him til he collapsed, because there is no other way we'd have him right now. I think the fastest way to get him here and safest is an airline. Now I just need to find who flies pets non-stop between Minnesota and Manchester NH or Boston!

Thanks. I kind of thought he probably had stayed pretty close to the area.  Years ago, someone let my dog out of the car. I'd stopped at the local bar for a drink and had my dogs with me. Some idiot saw him barking at him decided to try to show off.......said he could open the car door without getting bitten. He did and he didn't get bitten but my dog enjoyed the chance for a taste of freedom and took off. I actually had two of them in the car and the one came into the bar. By the time I got out, the other was gone. I called and called and no Buddy. Well, early the next morning I found him sitting in front of the bar waiting for me. Thing was I only lived about a mile, if that much, down the road. Would have thought he'd go home but instead he waited where he saw me last.

Has anyone heard an update on whether Godzilla is OK after vet care?

     Thanks!
