• dyan Posted : 4/30/2006 8:47:46 PM   They said "show marked".   They won't know show quality until later.  Yep, that was what the term was.   I guess thats a start!   Dyan, Do you currently show Bubblegum?  She's so pretty.  How old is she?   Thank you!  She is kind of pretty, huh??    She is 4 1/2. I got her a year ago Jan.  Heavens no, I don't show her. • nigguysmom Posted : 5/1/2006 7:41:24 AM Dyan, did you get her as a retired show-dog?  A friend of mine is getting a boxer that she is going to "finish in the ring" and then after a last litter, my friend gets to keep the dog and a puppy.    As a kid I wanted a Harlequin (sp) Great Dane with all my heart, I still think that they are so pretty, they are just stunning dogs.  Is that what she is considered?  I don't remember now exactly what the term meant but I have always considered the black and white spotted coloring to be Harlequin, is that right? 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • dyan Posted : 5/1/2006 8:33:24 AM Yes Terri, Bubby is a retired show dog,,,I guess you would consider. But she was used for breeding also,,,she got Mastitis with her last litter and therefore couldn't be bred anymore.  Yes she is Harlequin.   I as told she could still show but in a different catagory after having puppies.  Her breeder tried to talk  me into doing that.   But she is my pet now, my baby..her working days are over. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
