    Dinnah!

I have 2 plump and stunning game hens in the crock pot right now....YUMMM. Haven't had them in ages and ages...and never from a crock pot so I hope it comes out okay. I put some salt pepper rosemary and thyme on them..and a bit of sage just because the song said to. I don't have any parsely tho. Wink

Later I will be roasting some cut up potatoes in butter and garlic...and heat up some rolls too...and if that's not a supper worthy of Friday...I dunno WHAT...is!

I'm coming over for dinner, Gina.  Set an extra place, I will bring booze.

I was going to say no, because I am selfish cow...until you mentioned booze...LOL. You know my weaknesses well. Miss Cleo was WHIFFING those hens big time. Maybe I should get her one next time so she can try one.

Can I come? I'll be dining alone tonight. I'm officially a hunting camp widow! It's too rainy and wet for me to sit in the woods anyhow. I'll bring ummmmmm.......more booze? lol

Sounds yummy!  I can't come, but for once I have something cooking...some chili...think I'll make some cornbread also.  It all freezes in single portions for me.

Crock pot would be great for game meat. In fact, sometimes, cooking over a fast, high heat will make game meat too tough since it is so lean. Co-worker John (the one that kilt a deer) crock potted some venison rump roast. Mucho delicioso.
