    Name that drawing/artist

After discussing Escher with my boyfriend last night, it reminded me of a drawing I really like that's hanging in an exam room at my doctor's office.  I can't for the life of me remember what it's called, much less who the artist is and I'm hoping someone knows what the heck I'm talking about.  I've tried googling a billion different phrases to find it but it's not working.  Does anyone recognize this: it's a drawing rather than a painting or graphic and it's just black and white.  It depicts an isolated 'island' for lack of a better word, where numerous gagets and gizmos are interconnected to keep a 'prisoner' where he is.  The prisoner has a few things to choose from in order to release himself but he has to pick wisely because it could mean killing himself or destroying a bridge that leads to safety.  I say prisoner simply because of the set up and situation he apprears to be in.  The island isn't in water but looks like a piece of land perched high off the ground (you can't really tell what is at the bottom because the picture doesn't extend that far).

Please tell me someone knows what I'm talking about.  I really don't feel right calling my dr.'s busy office just to ask about some silly drawing.

    Maybe Dalí?
