Had an attempted break in last week

I was work and just got down texting bf on my last break when it happen last Thursday. He said Cadey started growling and then both of dogs started barking heading to the bedroom door while sitting in the living room. Bf was wondering what was setting the dogs off when he got up from the couch to open the bedroom door. He turned the light on and that is when the person took off from the window running around the building before bf could get a good look what the guy looked like. He didn't get in the only thing the person did was get the screen off our window thankfully to the dogs going off the person wasn't able to get in. Bf called the cops guess we where the fourth person to call in about someone trying to break in their place in our surrounding area. The thing that gets me the most the person could hear the tv was on and hear bf's phone going off so they knew someone was home. Thankfully Bf had just cleaned the pistol and it was in the living room instead of the bedroom so at least bf had the gun in case he needed to use it.

I'm just so thankful for the dogs.

OMG!  How scary, Melinda!  I'm so glad that your BF was home & the dogs alerted him to something wrong.  Good doggies!!!!

I'm glad everyone is ok! Geez. Why do people do stuff like that? Can't they just go get a dang job? *sigh* But, be thankful, everyone is ok - and nothing was taken.

My Dad is fighting with me about letting Sam inside for that reason alone. IF Sam were inside, he'd be in my room, which is on the second floor. So, if he's outside, he can 'protect' us.....haha, riiiiiight......Sam, protect? More like lick to death!

But, seriously - I'm glad everyone is Ok.....maybe someone will give that dude what he deserves....

Jeez, that is truly scary!  Thank goodness the dogs alerted you guys.  Gotta wonder about someone who would try and get in even though he should have known someone was home.  And thank goodness for  Mr.Smith and Mr. Wesson, always nice to have back up.
