Mindless Chatter - Wed

I wasted the day away yesterday. Slept in and cuddled with the dogs until about noon. Then became a couch potato until about 2. Then I finally got around and took the dogs to the park, ran errands, etc. and was back on the couch around 8pm. Real tough day. I was exhausted! ;) I did do some surface cleaning (vacuuming and such) but that was about the extent of it.

Abbie knocked a pop over on to my $250 calculator that I've had since high school and it doesn't work anymore :( I love this calculator! Calculators are kind of an important part of my job too.

I'm going to try Neiko at dock diving this Friday. I'm so excited. I hope he will do it. He jumps off my sisters dock in to her pool and he always takes flying leaps in to the water at the beach. He should be pretty good at it, but you never know. He might get scared.

Neiko, don't get scared! Hope he does have fun and jumps big for you. Wish I had spent the day like you. LOL

I bought new harnesses yesterday for Rex and Belle and they looked quite sharp. Belle in her purple and Rex in black. First time for Belle in a harness and she was prancing around like a girl with a new dress, very funny. They both found managed to find some mud on our walk, even though we are in a drought, and got muddy but it dried before we got back to the car. Twister doesn't get in mud, yeah.

Go Neiko! He won't get scared, he'll do great!

I was sapposed to get up at 6 and take Sam ffor a walk. I didn't. My bed just looked soooooooooo good. And it was sooooooooo cold and dark. Plus, when it's dark - I can't see that evil little terrier that tries to bite me evertime I walk. I love animals, I really love dogs, but I have NO issue kicking that little mutt like a ball. They let her run with no collar, she's not in a fence or on a tie out. I would lay money on the fact that she's not spayed either. Plus she's teaching they're new puppy the same thing - and this dogs a lot bigger. A Lab/Golden/other mix. Just lovely. My Dad is a body-builder, and he carries a steal pole(mini-pole, 2ft long) with him when he walks. I can't do that when I have Sam. It's to much to try and control. These people make me sick. They don't care that the dog has almost bit me(and everyone that lives in my house) multiple times.....*sigh*

I am so sad. A dog I know who has lived in the shelter for 5 years has passed away. He never found a house, but he certainly found a home. I've written a post about him in the Rainbow Bridge section. Rest in Peace, dear Toby!!!! I do love you and I am sorry you are gone, but glad you are in your forever home.
