    Thank You November 11

Today is the day we take time to remember all the brave warriors that defend our freedom, sometimes with their very lives.
Thank you and our prayers are with you.

Terry Kelly saw the man disrespecting veterans and he wrote this. Canada but relevant:

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you,
Jesus Christ and the American GI. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Yes - thank you to all - without you we would not enjoy the freedom to bicker and debate about politics, religion, and everything else.  We owe our lives to you and the lives of our children.

My grandfather fought in World War I.  He would have been 115 or something close to that?  When we bought our condo, my mom gave me his burial flag which is proudly waving on our front porch today.

Every time I hear that song I cry.  This time was no exception.

Thank you, veterans everywhere.  YOU are the reason we enjoy the freedoms we do.  YOU are the reason that Hitler didn't take over the world.  YOU are what has helped ot make our country what it is.

It is a beautiful place where my husband is buried...the GA Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.  Here is a pic I took yesterday of the entrance.  Thank you to all who have served...we will not forget.
