Can't they be friends more quietly? lol!

Ever since I got Rascal, about 2 years ago, it's been an ongoing struggle to have Rascal (a neurotic, easily frightened, reactive dog) makes friends with my BF (a sweet but *very* "not an animal person" guy).

After a ton of patience and hard work things are going great, but now... Rascal tends to whine like crazy when he can't get to BF! When I wake up before BF and let Rascal out of his sleeping crate, all he does is sit by the bedroom door and whine until BF wakes up and comes out, at which point Rascal barks like crazy, grabs the nearest squeaky toy, and runs in jubilant circles.

Sigh... I'm glad they're friends, but can't they do it... silently? Stick out tongue

Just be happy that they are friends now!  It's challenging when the dog, & SO don't get along.

I think that's very sweet!! Better loud love than not-love-at-all...

I think Calinisima said it well LOL

Haha, I definitely agree. Plus BF gets a kick out of Rascal pining for him - makes him feel all special and loved.

Sigh. Kids will be kids, right? Stick out tongue
