    WIDE awake at 1am!

HELLO!...ello....ello....ello.........(my lame attempt at an echo online, lol)....

Who else is awake besides me?

Seriously, I cannot sleep tonight. Jeremy is snoring to high heaven (makes me want to put a pillow over his face!), our bedroom is hot and it's raining out so I can't even open a window, there's nothing on TV, and nothing to do at 1:00am....

I can't believe how jealous I am of Apollo...he's all snuggled on his bed, sleeping...snoring (ugh, 2 snorers in the house).......

    I'm up, but it's only 11:30 hereSmile

The lad is playing a new game, which gives him motion sickness. But he won't stop playing the darned gameConfused So I'm amusing myself with browsing, while also making sure Aesop doesn't do his favorite thing of standing directly in front of the TV to watch the people running aroundStick out tongue

Hello! . . . ello. . ..ello. . . .elloooooo!  (echoing back from way out here in Oregon)!

It's not 1AM here, but when I'm on here late at night, it seems no one else is, due to the time difference!

I hate not being able to sleep, and it's even more annoying when someone right beside you is sawing logs like a lumberjack.  When that happens to me, I start concentrating on the sound of DH's snores, and it becomes a compulsion, no matter how hard I try to ignore it.  I try to get him to roll over or move, by tugging on his pillow or jostling blankets.  Doesn't always work -- and even if he DOES roll over, he often keeps snoring (at least on those nights when I'm wide awake).

Oddly enough, when our dog was still here, his snores actually soothed me to sleep (and he was a champion snorer, since he had a somewhat smooshy face)!

Look on the bright side -- at least you don't have to get up and go to work tomorrow morning (I'm assuming).  So, maybe you can sleep in and make up for lost hours of sleep!

I have insomina. It bites. But, hey, I live with it. I feel your pain - it's now 2:18am. I still can't sleep - on the bright side, I have 39 dog treat recipes. I'm about to start on the human cake's! Woo....lol.....My baking obsession hase carried me to the net!

its 6am blacklabbie, hope you managed to get to sleep!!

Otherwise, I can't even begin to imagine what kind of day you're going to have...

I *was* awake at 1AM - I was at a client's house and I didn't have internet. I was working on a project for school. I had to get up at 6, ugh. Lucky me, I'm off the rest of the day!

Try some Calms Forte, next time. They sell it at CVS, I think. I know they sell it at Whole Foods. That stuff rocks...puts you to sleep but doesn't make me feel drugged the next morning.

Well, I ended up reading last night which usually zonks me right out.....but, nope. I was up  until 3am, and awake at 7am (no alarm, just on my own). Hopefully, I'll be good and tired tonight!

Melatonin is natural and works well. You can keep it by your bed and take it, it kicks in pretty quick and doesn't leave you with a hungover feeling in the morning. Most of them just desolve under your tongue so you don't need water to take it.
