We went to see some Monkeys! (pic heavy!)

There were low railings to show the humans where they couldn't go, but the monkeys could go where they liked. A few sat in the path or walked across it. They weren't scared by people at all, but they never came too close either.

It was a nice walk anyway, even if there HADN'T been any monkeys... and the autumn colours were beautiful...

No, we weren't allowed to touch or feed them. I think if they got too confident they would have started mobbing people for snacks! Also, the eventual aim is to release them into the wild, so they don't want them to be too tame. Just having them roam about free around you and pose for pictures is pretty cool though!

I knew I should come back to see your pics!!

What a great experience for Will!! I'm sure he had the best time... now that I think about it, I'm sure all of you enjoy it!!

And the dancing picture, what can I say? He is adorable, dancing and smiling!! Give him a kiss from me, please...

Thanks both Smile We did all have a great time. Will got so tired and went to sleep half way round and I took so many photos DH threatened to buy me a swizzy DSLR camera for Christmas!! Tempting, but... no. Not yet! Thanks for looking!

Wow, cool place and great photos. Looks like will had a great time! And super cute dancing picture! Meri just figured out how to do more then bend her knees when she dances. Now she can twirl too! lol. Its so fun to see them so delighted in something so simple!

Those are the Fluffiest Monkeys I've ever seen. The ones I've seen are all in spring coat I guess.

I love Will's coat! He's so cute. You know Chuffy, you really need to get a video of him dancing...

Kali loves to dance too. She dances to commercial tunes and the Weather Network intros...and normal music too!

Thanks everyone!

It was at Trentham Gardens, near Stoke. It will be open next weekend (which has a poor weather forecast btw) and then they are closed for the winter. But if you go when it's open again in Spring/Summer you might see TEENY WEENY baby monkeys Smile
