    MY THAKSGIVG DECORATIONS

These are me pictues of some of my thanksgiving deorations. If i get them in order, the firt is of my mantle with scare crows (left from halloween) along with pilgrim mickey and minnie on one ed, a turky on the other.

Next is my bear pilgrims. I picked thee pilgrim and indian bears up at dollar tree several years ago for $1 each. I later found the wood church at big lots for like $5. I made the tepee, table, campfire, etc. The pot on the campfire is actaully a tea light candle holder that i sprayed black and filled with aquarium gravel and glue to keep it in place.

Then my table wih thanksgiving table cloth, place mats, napkin rings and napkins and of coure, horn of plenty, candles. Etc.

Bottom shelf ofmy built n bookcase. On one end are harvest angles, on the other harvest pilgrims. On the shelf above is part of mt lighted village.

Next is my lighted village. I omly have 2 shelves of thanksfiging houses, barns, etc. Unseen is scarecrows and fake pumpkins on shelf over village. Next is my "porch kid pilgrims that i go at k-mart last year.

Mr desk with some thanksgiving stuff on shelves. I made covers for my keyboard and printer for every holiday. You probably can not tell, but this material is just a mass of colored leaves.

And last is looking at the end of the livivgroom. I have mr & mrs pilgrim tyrkeys hanging on the wall. Toy can't tell, but on the table on the tight side of the tv is a harvest train with pilgrims, indians, turkeys on it, and below is farmer turkey drivivg a tractor abd oulling a trailer of goods.

On the cabinet with dvd player is my harvesr tree with thanksgiving ornaments on it and 4 animals dressed as pilgrims. On the table next to the dvd cabinet is more thanksgiving things icluding candles wit autumn rings.

The chair that had the halloween skeleton in ir is covered with a throw with harvest angel on it. Have bathrooms done up, a huge bblow up turkey--8 feet--in front yard

This is exactly why I am not putting bulbs on my tree this year! Sad Plus Lily would probably try to eat them.

Thanksgiving decorations look great! I love to decorate but I take thanksgiving off and go nuts for Christmas! Plus Ben would kill me....Angel

What we do is we put the "nice" bulbs up high where tails can not reach them, and the plastic won't matter ornaments at the bottom. I am actually surprised every year how few fall from the tree. When we are gone, we use a "portable playpen" that we bought at Toys R Us and place it around the tree to protect it from the dogs. The tree is always positioned in a corner.

One year my lab puppy (she was just a year) did go to town on our tree with help from my golden. Kayla (the golden) knocked it down, Shadow ate the bulbs (plugged in mind you) and broke the ball ornaments. We were only gone probably 10 min tops (ran to Mickey D's and home 1mi away) It was amazing the destruction. I was also amazed she was not electrocuted. She did suffer the "wrath of mom!">

thanks everyone.  i love to decorate for all holidays and special days.  i have shower curtains, mats, toilet seat covers to match for valentine, easter, july 4, halloween, thanksgiving and chtistmas.  have hand towels and other thinfs i put ibn bathrooms.  then of course i do up everyroom.  I do not have vert much for st, partick's day, but  have somr leprechauns (?)  shamrocks etc.  i got a small black cauldron to mkea pot of gold.  buying enough gold coins could be expensive, so i got cheap poker chips and spray painted the gold and using lots and lots of glie, glued them together in the pot anf then glued the plastic gold coins over them.

i even have sheets and spreads for halloween and christmas.  i get a LOT of stuff from  www.terrysvillage.  that is where i got all my bathroom sets, curtains, etc.  and i love to hit after season sales at hobby lobby, micheals, etc.

I love to decorate for all the holidays!  I have kinda gotten lazy about it tho.   The kids and grandkids arent around during Thanksgiving and Christmas, or Halloween.  I have started giving them all my decorations for their own houses.   No need to wait til I am gone and their kids are grown for them to enjoy Hoilday decorating.   I still do smalll things like silk flowers, tablecloths, dish towels, candles.  I dont do a tree, no room really,  so I just make the dining room festive.  Its just me hubby and the dogs so I dont get to energetic,
