Interesting mantis fact, while there is often the running joke that guys think with a certain lower member, in the male mantis world that is no joke.  They actually have a second brain located downstairs so if they have the misfortune of being beheaded they can continue with their little love fest undisturbed.

Not mantis related, but there is a kind of cockroach which carries around a spare..you know...just in case the first one gets broken off.
