Our recent road trip.. Picture heavy

First USA trip in over 13 years without a dog, what a weird feeling!! But the Hubs found a car he has wanted for a very long time and of course it was over 700 miles away. We drove up in my car and the sceanary was breath taking, we forget what it is like to have real Fall colors. The occasional popcorn tree is as close as we normally get here in the deep South... So forgive the snaps of Fall. It was funny in a way as a Bi Polar I am careful of my stimulus factor and after a day or two of these wild colors I was really wound up!! The car Bob wanted was a 2003 Olds Aurora they only made 500 it is a 4 lt Northstar V8 and WOW will he ever get introuble in this car if he does not pay close attention! It flat scoots. My car is an 07 Saturn Aura. So both are big sedans but his is a sports car pretending to be a sedan LOL. He was not amused when I named his car for him, we have always givne our cars names and since Sleeping Beauty's real name was Aurora I dubbed his new ride "Princess" ( His last car was the Shark ). On our trip we were able to get into Charlotte NC to visit for two days with dear friends and dog mentors who are having their 3 year old daughter treated in Hyperbaric Chambers after she fell into the family pool in June and nearly died. She has major brain damage but this Hyperbaric treatment is honestly making a difference! You can really tell, they are willing to do anything to help her out. Once home and back in the normal routines I took a million photos last night of the kids dressed for Halloween , don't worry I did not stick those in this post!

Lucky Northerners these colors were amazing! It was 80 degrees at home and they got a foot of snow the day after we left Albany NY !
