DPU
Geez, haven't any of you been in a pet store? The book is usually kept on the counter around the register. Take a look, it has where the dog came from. If its not there, simply ask for the dog's birthday and the clerk will reference the binder. Wow, get to know what you are advocating against.
HA! Not even! The store I scammed absolutely refused to show me anything but a fancy BS pedigree page which meant nothing. Then they claimed a local vet had checked and treated all the pups, but didn't want to give me the name until I bought the pup. FINALLY, I went back on another day when a poor unsuspecting clueless teen was alone in the store, my daughter distracted her at the pup playpen and I copied down all the info after snowing her into showing me the papers. The more savvy manager wouldn't let me see crap. They were selling dogs with umbilical hernias for full price and saying it was no problem, it'd go away on it's own. After the teen accidentally told me the vet's name, I contacted them. The only relationship they had with that pet store was treating the sick pups people had bought from there. They'd never seen one in their practice without problems. They DO NO want you to see those papers, they're required by law in most places to have them in case AC comes by, but they are NOT required to turn them over to buyers, only to provide proof of vaccination, which comes from an untraceable out of state vet.
