    My Intro

    Hi All,

I registered last week but never posted, figured I should post an intro. I'm Marie, I live in New

Hampshire and I have three dogs. Boone is a 2.5yr old pbgv, he's our "problem child". Tucker is a

blue merle sheltie, he'll be nine in January, Katie is an around 12ish Sheltie who we adopted in December.

She came to us with a bunch of issues but most have resolved by now. Looking forward to joining in and if

someone can tell me how to get rid of the double spacing between my sentences, I'd appreciate it!

Welcome!  Can't wait to hear stories about your shelties and your "problem child"!

Sorry - can't help with the double spacing as I have the same issue.  I think I just got used to it.  *shrug*

thanks to both you and Meg for the welcomes!  Boone is my pbgv, that's him as my avatar (or whatever

it's called). He's been the most challenging dog we've ever had. He swore me off puppies but lately, he's gotten

better and I can see a someday puppy, though definitely not a peeb. I prefer older dogs LOL. He's a dog who is

into anything & everything, he's very happy & go lucky but sometimes, he meets someone he doesn't like and

it's painfully obvious he hates them. He didnt like small kids, we had our first two grandchildren born this summer

and I was worried, esp since I babysit one full time. Luckily, he's the best with the girls.

My shelties are easy. Tucker's been with me since he was 9 weeks old and he's wonderful. Katies only issues is

that she's very very vocal, the most vocal dog we've ever had. We figure she may have been this way her whole life

as we just got her in December and she was around eleven years then.

Welcome to the forum from another Sheltie fan!  Your dogs sound terrific, and how nice it was of you to adopt an elderly Sheltie!  It sounds like she's been a good addition to your family.  Please feel free to post pictures of them in the Photos for Sharing section!

Welcome and I would also like to say that it is great to hear of someone adopting a senior dog.  I love pbgv's but I'm glad he's yours and not mine.LOL
