    help! inducing vomiting question

GAH!  Ari is going to be the death of me.  I cannot recall (and stupid me forgot to write it down and stick it on the hydrogen peroxide bottle) the dosage to induce vomitting - is it 1 teaspoon per 10 lbs body weight or 1 tablespoon per 10 lbs....or am I not even remembering anything correctly?

I believe she swalled a decent chunk of a toy (rubber) and I'm hoping inducing vomitting will bring it back up (she was chewing it at my feet, when I went down to check on her I noticed it was GONE and I can't find it anywhere).

last thing we need is another $2,000 emergency exploratory surgery....

Oh no!!!!!  I hope Ari will be okay.

Ari is ok - she vomitted up the piece of the toy all of it.  I had to make my SO dig through the puke though - I do not handle vomit well and nearly added to what came up from her.

Her humans on the other hand have had several years shaved off their life expectancy....

    Glad she gave it up.

I've seen all the vomit I care to in the past year, from giardia to toy parts that go down (and back up) to avocados.  I hate having to participate.  Bad enough when they do it on their own.

Ari, stop scaring your family like this!

Glad that you recovered the toy.

Since I'm here two hours later, I'm glad it all came out ok ... (no pun intended).  Scarey stuff -- and I can tell you, we've had a LOT Of people thankful for that post.

Copy it back up here please???  That's an EXCELLENT post.
