He was always so handsome to us older generation. He will be missed.

he was very handsome...one of those generationless good lookers I think. He seemed to have lived a wonderful life tho!

How Sad...

I've always had the feeling that he tried hard to 'give back'. The charity work they've done, etc. And I think he tried hard to take care of his health. It's sad but I think he had a full accomplishment-filled life and a close family.

Aww man, that stinks!

OH this is so sad! I adored him. I saw him once when I was working out east. His daughter Clea rode at the same barn the girl I worked for rode at. Let's just say the camera did not do that man justice. He was far better looking in real life! GORGEOUS. His wife, Joanne Woodward is a very nice person. I am so sorry to hear about his passing.

He'll be very much missed. He was one of the few in Hollywood who managed to keep himself and his family away from the usual scandals and gossip mongers.
