Slightly off topic (love the pics btw) - what are you using for the screen doggy door thingy? I think that might be the answer to my prayers! I have french doors for my back door and no screen - Dakota took care of the screen long ago. So, I often just leave the back door wide open so the dogs can go in and out. That lets bugs in of course, but that thing you have might fix that!

What a fabulous set of pictures! My dogs seem to like corn cobs too--they try and retrieve them from the compost pile!

Jeweliee, I can't remember where I got the screen thingy but here's one http://www.inthecompanyofdogs.com/itemdy00.asp?c=&T1=D64118+30&SKW=+other%20accessories&GEN1=Other+Accessories&PageNo=1&pos=12. Sorry Dog.com. I didn't see it on your site. It's pretty effective at keeping flies out but some still make it through. This is my second season with it & it's standing up pretty well.

It is the patch on the top of her head. That colouration is called that because it looks like the little patch of hair monks used to have on the back of their head.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! In my rescue group we call that spot "Angel's Kiss". It's a perfect spot for kissing.
