Gotta get that tail!

 Uh...ya, though we hate to admit it.  LOL. 

Both of my dogs will at times chase their tails.  It seems to get worse at coat blowing time, but I think thats more to itch the base of their tails.  When they're outside they will do the zoomies too, but not in the house.  They have no traction in here.  

It seems like they do it most when one wants to play and the other is being lazy.

 Maze will chase her tail to let me know she needs to pee. Lol With the zoomies, she'll race around the living room And if the couchs are clear, she'll do agility over the couchs with running. She won't run in the kitchen anymore ever since she ran full speed and slid in to the cupboard door.

LOL yes Riley does that sometimes, and always eventually catches it. Then I find little tufts of red fur in his mouth. : /

He's so intelligent!

Mosby hasn't done it in a long time but I loved it when he did - it always left me laughing so hard!   

 Totti does that all the time...

And just in the moment when he grabs it, he falls on his back. Then he gets angry and you have round two... I wonder sometimes if it is just boredom or he is, well, not the smartest dog ever...

Monroe stopped chasing his tail a couple of years ago - no idea why.  Morrison has a docked tail so he chases Monroe's instead.  He is really lucky that Monroe is such a patient and kind dog!
