POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS TOY

I RECIEVED THE FLLOWING E-MAIL FROM A LADY I "MET" WHO ALMOST LOST HER DOG TO PROHEART6 AND WE HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT EVER SINCE. WHEN I LEANRED SHE WAS FROM NC, I MENTIONED MY SISTER LIVED THERE. LONG STORY SHORT, HER HUSBAND WORKED IN THE PRINTING DEPARTENT AT UNC WITH MY BROTHR-IN-LAW AND PLAYED ON A SOFT BALL TEAM WITH HIM, AND THIER NEPHEW & FAMILY LIVE IN THE SAME SMALL COMMUNITY AS MY SISTER & FAMILY AND GOES TO THE SAME CHURCH. MY SISTER COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT BETTY AND I COULD "MEET" OVER THE WEB BECAUSE OF PROHEART6 AND THEN FIND THE CONNECTION. SHE KNOWS THE NEPHEW & FAMILY REALLY WELL. IT IS A SMALL WORLD.

Please forward-this is involving hard rubber balls-this came in from one of my rescuer friends. I have never heard of this and it is horrific.It makes me wonder about any of these type toys.

What a horrible thing to happen to that poor dog!

Looks like the company decided to do the right thing. Too late for the injured dogs.

It's not a link, just copy and paste into your browser. Found it when I looked on the net for injuries caused by this ball. The company has acknowledged a problem and has recalled the balls in question and hopefully, at the very least, they are paying for Vet bills incurred.

Sorry, it does look like a link.

That poor baby! How awful, for him and his owner. Just goes to show how something to unassuming can turn into a nightmare within a matter of mintues, even seconds. Besh wishes to little Chai and all the others that stupid ball has injured. And kudos to Four Paws for stepping up and doing the right thing.

Wow.....just wow! We do not have this ball, or others like it, in our collection of toys and I'm so glad.
