Mindless Chatter - Tues

It is nice here today, too. It's 71 right now with only 53% humidity! YAY! and it's only gonna get up to 81. Too bad i got called into work :(

I've been feeling dizzy ever since i woke up this morning. I'm not sure what's going on there... 

 When I start getting dizzy like that it usually means that I've been over worked, over stressed and haven't had enough sleep. I get a good days rest and am better the next day.

It's a lovely, rainy day here.  The kind of rain that is much needed for crops and lawns.

I'm a little frustrated today because our adoption agency sent out reference surveys to a bunch of people and, because they don't understand Canadian postal codes, some were not recieved.  There is a deadline for them to be in so now I'm trying to co-ordinate these packets getting to all the right people.  Argg!

All this and stress at work is making for an interesting day.  The boys are at day care today so I can get a lot done and not worry about them, at least. 

I want to play hookey. It is so nice out and right now I am miserable here at work. I know you are all tired of me whining. So am I. If I didn't "need" the money...

MY WEAVE POLES ARE IN!!!! WOO HOO we are going to pick them up tonight

The agility trial this weekend is hosted by a Rhodesian Ridgeback club, they use the 24" space weaves. They dropped them off at our training facility since that is where the trial is being held, we got to use them last night for class. Belle likes the bigger weaves. Unfortunately my weaves are "standard" spacing, but hopefully she will weave faster at the trial this weekend. When I told my agility trainer about Belle's lure course fun, she recommended that I go to cleanrun.com and get her a stinky rabbit pelt. At first I was wondering why, but then I was thinking it could be her "reward" rev her up before and play after her runs. I may look into that. I just don't know if she will play with it. We have a "tug leash" a friend made I may take that this weekend as a tug and see if she will play with that.

Julie I missed something. What happened to your hot tub?  

I am so excited!  I am going to visit my cousin in Austin in September and one of her friends is starting a photography business.  I inquired with her about doing a maternity shoot while I am there and she said she would love to and wants one to add to her portfolio so she will do it for free!  Of course, I will pay her something, but it means she will want to try a bunch of different ideas and hopefully we will get some awesome shots!  Yipeee!  I look at her Flickr page all the time and always love what she has done so this should be fun! 

It is going to storm here!! It's so windy and thundering. Hopefully it'll only last a couple of hours.

bleh. it just started pouring here. out of no where.....

I went to take Casey out, and BAM - rain. poor dog didn't even get to pee, and he got wet....

yea... can't wait for the rainy season to be over! my poor dog has to pee and I wanted to go swimming! haha.... at least it's not AS hot out today.......

My poor brother - when we picked him up from the airport last night (he was in CO with one of his friends) his girlfriend just announced that she was moving out! I don't know if they broke up or what. She left this morning with some of her stuff, and he's packing up some of it right now. I'm super-curious but I don't want to pry.

Dang it, and she was going to loan me a dress to wear to BF's work banquet on Friday! Now I have to figure something else out I guess.

 It is a gorgeous day here a bit hot again now though.  I have been out since 7:15 this morning and Bugsy is so full of energy - he's the devil this dog I tell ya.

That's all because if I type any more something will wind up missing, eaten or damaged - I need to boot his butt out

How in the world do people NOT exercise their dogs???  I mean you 'd want to lynch yourself if you didn't exercise B

Jimminy crickets - the travel woes got worse....

I went to the airport late last night to pick up my checked bag that came in on a different flight than me.  I walked in, saw my bag, showed my ID, and left.  Got home, unzipped a pocket and realized my stuff was missing!  Peeved, I opened the main bag and saw mens underwear.  Well then!!  It wasn't my bag!!!

Long story short - the airline was no help over the phone, but I found the owner's name on the bar-coded sticky tag.  I looked up the owner's name online, called them (at 11pm - I felt so bad!!) and luckily managed to swap our bags right in my office today.  PHEW!  Nothing missing, everything good.  SO ANGRY when the airline said:  "I'm sorry, I don't have any information on your bag."..... WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN!?>?!  I just gave you information - the tag #, my name, the airport, the other passenger's, her tag #, etc.... What the heck do you mean you have nothing to tell me?!  WHERE is my bag??

This morning I lost my car keys for over an hour- THAT was awful.  I was an hour late to work, and on my way, I ended up smacking myself in the face w/a glass bottle when I went over a bump.  Nice!  I am hoping those three things were the last of the bad crap that comes in threes!!
