Olympic Equestrian Coverage

I am THRILLED that they are doing so much coverage of the equestrian sports this year. Usually you can catch about 5 minutes at 2am....

Anyway, this past weekend they did about 45 minutes each day on Saturday and Sunday mornings on USA network of the eventing dressage. At the end of yesterday's broadcast, they mentioned that the Oxygen network would cover the remaining eventing phases as well as individual & team dressage and show jumping. So, according to my guide, Oxygen will carry the coverage Monday-Friday this week, from 6-8pm EST. Every day they will show some of the equestrian! They will also have a few other sports, but it looks like they'll have a decent amount of coverage this year. Might check your local listings...not sure what the other time zones will do.

My TiVo is set and I cannot wait!!!

I watched the dressage. I would like to see some of the jumping too.

I think cross country is today. My favorite to watch and my favorite to ride, so I am really pumped up!

Thanks for the update. I want to "tivo" all of it so I can watch it "quickly" and skip what I don't want to see. I missed USA this weekend, my girlfriend emailed me it was on but I could not find it. So I have not seen any horsies yet. I do not want to miss the showjumping. I really don't want to miss any of it.

You're welcome! I figured a lot of folks would want to watch, but it's not being advertised much. That's my plan, too...record it and watch it later when I can skip over all the other stuff and just watch the horses. I stumbled upon the dressage Saturday morning. My TV had been on USA from the night before (love Monk and Psych on Friday nights!) and when I got back from walking Harry Saturday morning, I turned on the TV and there it was!
