    Patriots vs Baltimore (pic heavy)

Last night Jeremy, my Dad, my brother, and I went to the Pats vs Baltimore game at Gillete Stadium at Foxboro, MA. My Dad and his best friend are season ticket holders (4 seats, in 2 sections), but since his best friend doesn't go t pre season games we got his tickers! Yay! It was a fun night, even though the Pats lost 16-15.

Arrow pointing to Jeremy & my brothers seats....THATS how CLOSE those seats are. They're on the 50 yard line, Pats side (of course).

Wow!  Those seats are awesome!!!  I'm a huge Patriots fan, and I'm lucky to watch them on TV way out here in Oregon (they mainly televise Seattle, 49ers and Raiders games).  I can't imagine sitting in seats like that at the stadium - even a pre-season game would be great!  It's really cool you got to be there!

I noticed in the first picture you had on a jersey with the old logo --- I used to have a similar jersey, but it got handed down to a couple cousins after I outgrew it, and now I have no idea where it is.  I wish I still had it, even if I just kept it in a drawer.  We made some really good friends out here when I spotted a guy in a park while we were walking our dogs.  He had on a sweatshirt with that logo, and I ran all the way across the field to ask him about it.  When he said he was from CT (like I am), I nearly jumped up and down.  We met his wife, got together for dinner soon after and were friends from that point on.  They've since moved to Florida, so I'm alone here in my Patriots support again (not counting DH, who adopted them after meeting me - he's a Green Bay fan).

All I have now is a drinking glass with the old logo, which I don't let anyone use.  It's in the back of the cupboard for safe keeping!

Those seats are unbelievable. My Dads best friend (he's also like my uncle but not related) has the seats that are really close. My Dads seats are right above him, but not that far up. I actually like sitting higher because you can see the entire field, but sitting close is pretty cool too. The stadium is all new, and they're builing stores all around it (like Bass Pro) and some high end restraunts, so its really becoming a nice place.

My Dad got me the jersey with the old logo. He still thinks that logo looks better, I do too. But (of course!) I have a Brady jersey, in the second pic of me & Jeremy.

Conneticut is so funny because it's a split state (1/2 MA, 1/2 NY), there's a lot of Pats fan, and a lot of NY Giants fans. Me & Jeremy always say we should move there (he's a NY Giants fan).

I like the old logo MUCH better, too.  The new one looks too similar in shape to other teams' logos.

It's true about CT being a split state, and I grew up about 20-25 miles west of Hartford, right in the center.  You were either a Boston fan or NY fan for baseball, too -- there was no in between.  I had a T-shirt that I wore to gym class throughout high school that said "Official New York Yankees Hater."  I lived in Fairfield county after college, and I worked in Stamford with almost all NY fans in that area.  It made me crazy listening to them blabber on about the Yankees, Mets, Giants and Jets all the time.

How did you handle Jeremy with the Giants winning the SuperBowl?  I'm still not over that.  Honestly, I'm surprised you didn't hear me screaming like a complete maniac all the way out here in Oregon as that game ended.  Still makes me completely sick to think about it!  Super Angry

To be completely honest...lol...we didnt' talk much that night, or the next couple days. I was so bummed. The next day here in Boston it was like the city was dead- it was so quite, everyone was somber...lol. He didn't get to celebrate their win because everyone here are Pats fans, lol.
