Mindless Chatter Monday

Lies: I like your idea about countering the price of the puppy to video games. I told DH that since my puppy is so much, he can buy a large handful of games.  So now he's got a list of 8 games that he's gonna buy when I get my puppy And I'll be living through you until I get my puppy. *sigh*

Well today is better then yesterday. Maze wasn't feeling good yesterday and had her first accident in over a year in the house (and it STUNK!). Also she got caught on the ether cord for the Xbox 360 and pulled it down . Scratched the game that was in it, but other then that, it's fine. DH had a heartattack and Maze hid in my lap for 2 hours. Lol. 40lbs is a bit big for a lapdog and my computer chair isn't big enough for both of us. But we managed.

Today though I feel like I've got a head cold. *sigh* Not impressed.  Maze is pouting because I took away all the bones after I found a wound on the roof of her mouth. It doesn't hurt her but it looks like she's rubbed a part of her mouth raw from the bones. So up they went. I've got to find a file to wear down the sharp edges.   

I slept in til 1pm and DH let me! *shock* Normally I hate sleeping in so late but I didn't get to bed til 3am cuz we did an Indiana Jones marathon since I've never seen the first three. Was weird seeing a young Harrison Ford. 

 well I'll never remember all the responses I thought of so -

Amanda I am sorry to hear about Bevo - he must be trying to figure out how it all went wrong?  It's a tough call but if it were B I'd probably go for the conservative first.  BUT a friend of mine's lab had a partial tear and it wasn't a HUGE surgery - he did really well with it and wasn't nearly in as good a shape as Bevo.

My great black and white hunter is stalking a house fly in my kitchen.  I think she's just playing with it because its getting slower and slower, which makes me think she is catching and releasing it.  Just eat the darn thing already!

We came back last night from spending the weekend at the in-law's.

And I think I caught a cold down there. When it's 105 F outside, how do you know if you have a fever?

I'm due tomorrow.  So everyone, please, labor vibes if you may?  I have a dr's appt tomorrow, so maybe I'll see if he can strip my membranes.  I'm gonna ask him if he'll induce my on Friday if I haven't gone yet.  He said before that he won't let me go too far over my due date because of my past with GD, so 3 days is lots right?  I just think having a baby on 08/08/08 would be neat.  Well that and I'm tired of being pregnant.  It seems like I've been pregnant forever.  Is it bad of me to just want to have a beer?  Just one...I just want one nice cold beer this summer.  

Oh, how exciting. I hope the appt goes smoothly and Dr. is willing to help you out so you can have a cold beer real soon Sending easy delivery vibes your way.

I got my new laptop today and could hardly wait to get home to play with it!  So far Vista hasn't been too bad.  We will see though when I start loading more programs.  I have found my way around so far.  I will be curious to check out word and excel though although I found an awesome website that shows you where to go in the 07 programs based on where you went in the 03 programs.  The keyboard will take some time to get used to.  I got a 17 inch so I would have the 10 key numbers on the side and it is throwing me off a little.  It is suprisingly light for such a big screen.

I bought baby bedding last week.  Hubby plans to paint the nursery this week while he is on vacation.  I am getting excited to meet our little girl!

 Thanks for the vibes....I really like that, "nearly falls out" one.  That sounds perfect, though I'm not sure what it would say for me....

LOL Have I ever mentioned how silly Bugsy is?  Tonight I was cleaning out my vanity and took out a little thing that had cotton balls.  Well B needs to know what you are doing and had been mincing around - then he stole a cotton ball and took off like I would care.  When I didn't chase him, he ate it and did it again, three cotton balls later I told him enough and he gave me this big Harumph - like whatever

 Aw Ma!  You're no fun!
