    Mindless Chatter - Wed

I got a new work computer yesterday. Man is it fast! There's always so much work involved getting new computers the way you like them though. Downloading software, installing software, changing settings and so on.

I took the dogs sheep herding last night. Abbie is a maniac. All she wanted was to get at those sheep. She's going to be good once she is old enough.

    My house is a disaster.

Coke and I got haircuts last night.  I love mine and I love his (did it myself).  Tonight we hit the pet store, everyone is out of food...

My laptop at home has been on it's last leg for quite some time now.  It has been running out of space too.  Last week we loaded a new mega printer onto it and now it keeps locking up and really doesn't want to work.  So today I ordered myself a new laptop and got a killer deal on it!  It is a 17" with the built in 10 key and I paid under $1000!  Whoohooo!  I can't wait for it to get here!

I have my "official" determine the sex of the baby appt tomorrow!  Even though we were already told at 16 weeks, I can't wait!  Hopefully I will get a lot of great pics!

Good luck with the "official" sex determination tomorrow, Sarah!

DH took the dogs for their morning run today, & I slept in.  I've been exhausted for the last week or two, but there's always something going on that won't allow me to sleep in.  This morning, I said screw it, & stayed in bed.  I'm still a little tired, but I'm thinking that a nap later will do the trick.

    AHHHHH!!!!

I have lost all productivity at work and at home!

My Dad is coming to visit this weekend.  It will be the first time he sees the house we have had for two years as he doesn't visit much.  I always feel that he is hyper-critical, even if he isn't.  Needless to say the house is a disaster and I haven't finished painting the master bedroom so all the furniture is in the guest room...ugh.

DH goes out of town today so he won't be able to help me either.

Looks like I'll have some late evenings ahead of me..... Crying

Today is my nephew's THIRD birthday. I can't believe it! I feel like it was last week we were in the waiting room of the hospital waiting for his dad to come out and give us news... We're going to the county fair (which, in Orange County, is not some farm-y thing..it's like a huge carnival or something, lol) tonight... I'm going to eat lots of fried stuff and gain a few pounds.. hehe

On another note, I started making and selling agility equipment on eBay, and I'm already overwhelmed with just two orders. I wonder how this is gonna go for me... I have to go get acetone to clean the lettering off the PVC like NOW, which hopefully will WORK, otherwise I'm screwed..then I have to put the stuff together, make assembly sheets, pack them up, and ship em out by the time the post office closes. Wouldn't be too bad if I would actually get my butt up and do it...

do you ever feel just aggitated?  Not one thing in particular but lots of little things?  Well that is me right now.

This guy has been doing the electric hookups on our porch since about 2:30 it is nearly 8 pm - be done already!  Go home! Angry

I decided to not give B his benadryl this morning, I really hate giving it to him all the time. He seemed OK and then about 5:30 he was just a demon (not helped by the fact he couldn't go crazy outside like he normally does at that time).  He was chewing everything, panting non-stop, destroyed a leather retriever toy, was stealing stuff from everywhere and eating it (paper goods are way up on his yummy list), he was nibbling my clothes (& DH's), etc etc.  Basically all the things he does when he is uncomfortable and can't settle.  So I gave him the benadryl after a while and within an hour he started to settle.  I feel bad that I experimented with him but I really hate the daily benadryl.  There is no way it can be good for him.  So I will try again tomorrow and see how his skin holds up.

Tomorrow I am doing some survey for a research company and getting $100 for an hour Big Smile

Oh the electrician just went under the house to do something and said we have a ton of water under there.............will this never be over Tongue Tied

Yes, I feel that way when my hormones get out of whack.

And as for the electrician finishing the job - my BF has been working on a project that feels like it will never end, and I keep thinking the homeowners must be having the same feeling "BE DONE ALREADY!"  But, unfortunately, BF is a perfectionist and is going to make sure it is right... and not just RIGHT but perfect.  As a matter of fact, last night he wasn't home until after 11pm, and the same is true tonight - not even sure if he's on his way home yet or not.

Maybe your electrician is the same - a perfectionist?

I leave for NH in the morning and I haven't packed a stitch.  I stayed at work until 10pm trying to make sure that everything was done for everyone else.  My boss goes to Canada tomorrow.  Another coworker had to hire a temp to assist on a project, so I gathered as much info and drafted some process manuals for them.  Then I had to update and draft new procedures for my own job, because they will get a temp for Monday and Tuesday when nobody else can cover (a lot of us will be out next week)

I am exhausted and do NOT want to pack.  I fear I won't get up early enough to finish.  I don't care if I need to do laundry anymore - I will pack them dirty and do laundry when I arrive at my parents' if I get desperate... I am soooooo tired.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
