    Hi Folk,

     i should of introduced myself before i posted ealier. My Name Is Sarah. Im a Student From Scotland, UK. i came on here to meet some animal lovers, and get some advice on my new puppy Miller. He's a purebred Border Collie. hes about 13 weeks and has his fair share of problems already!
    but hopefully with some help from you all i'll be well on my way to training him. i also have two cats, Honeybee a maine coon, shes almost 5 now.. shes a red and white tabby, shes a big teddy bear! and my rescue, Maxamus! he must be almost 10 now, and hes the best cat i could ask for! enough gibbering anyways, and thanks for all the advice iv already recieved guys! appricate it.

    Welcome!  I know several people (Border Collie trainers) who immigrated here from Scotland.  A good friend is from the Borders, another from somewhere in the Highlands (he was a contract shepherd, I forget where exactly), and another from the area around Lomond.  My own family is from Motherwell (grandparents).

     I lived in Manchester for over 6 years and DH is a native Mancunian.

     im from Dundee, which is North east scotland. god i wish i could Immigrate to america, i love the culture and im big on politics! hehe! its such a beautiful place! i like miami. Smile

    There are ups and downs of both places, DH totally wanted to emmigrate and now that he is here for 4.5 yrs he has a more balanced view of here not just holiday here.

    my friend just returned from America, she'd been there 8 weeks at a summer camp, helping kids. and she said that americans were truely the nicest bunch of people she'd ever met. :)

     

    and yes. i can't argue. your weather is a million times better. :P

    Hi Sarah!  Welcome to the board.  My ancestors are from the UK (Scotland, England & Wales) AND one of my dogs has been called a mini Border Collie.  I have to laugh because he's a Papillon.  Anyway, it's good to have you here.

    My husband is from Dundee (Newport-on-Tay originally) and he immigrated here in '96 when we got married.  There are actually like 37 Dundees IN the US and I think we've visited like 25 of them so far!  *smile*
