Bad Bad fly bites

My poor boy is being eaten alive. His ears are bleeding and he shakes his head constantly causing him to have a bloody neck and head. The vet Recommended Wipe. So I have been applying this every other day and I have also tried Bag Balm. It seems to help for a few days then it's back to bleeding. The only other product my Vet recommeds is Conk, but it's the same darn thing as Wipe. I have tried to wrap his ears with bandage, but I;m sure you know how that is going. Any ideas on what I can do? There are no flies around his outdoor Kennel, because I spray the area and I do not leave poop there at all.

Some fly sprays for Horses that you can buy can also be used on dogs, You can buy some horse spray at local tractor and supply stores. I think there at Fly Predators you can also buy but I dont know how safe those are. o.0

Have you tried Flys Off creme? It is repellent mainly but helps with the healing and really does keep the flies off. Have you used any type of repellent spray likeBronco fly spray that should keep the flys at bay. I'm surprised the bag balm didn't help with healing. You could try applying corona also. Do you do it like every day or every other day with the back balm?

Flies are really bad here this year. Some of my dogs they seem very attracted to and they are even biting us (humans) too. They will swarm around us in little swarms anyway and bite our legs/arms. What type of flies are you dealing with?
