(jm) janetmichel3009 Posted : 7/25/2008 1:07:19 AM i'm sure i'll have more questions later, but for now i wanna know how you save your pics? the pictures now are pretty large (largest setting). as is, i will run out of space pretty quickly on my computer... what size do you save your pics? if you resize, what's your method? and where do you save your pics? oh and of course reasons for your choices! i'm just trying to figure out if i should keep the big pics. or just use smaller ones. what the best way of saving is? if, i should get another harddrive... etc... thanks!! • Liesje Posted : 7/25/2008 7:34:07 AM I post-process everything through Picasa and save at "original" size at "maximum" quality.  I back these up to an external hard drive for safe keeping and so it doesn't take up space on my computer.  I upload all my photos to Flickr, and Flickr automatically gives you several choices of sizes.  For example, here is a photo I took last night, you can see the different size options above.  Generally I never actually save pics smaller on my computer because then the big one is gone forever or I'm saving duplicates I don't need.  However if you do want to re-size them smaller, Picasa will do that, it has several size options and when you do an export, it batch resizes them. http://www.flickr.com/photos/liesjers/2699556629/sizes/m/  0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
