I think Ben is depressed...

Since his buddy left, on Sunday. I think he really got used to having another dog around the house, he hasn't been himself since. Nothing that would make me worry, in terms of illness or anything, just subdued and he keeps picking up the toys the 2 of them would play with and then dropping them.

Poor Ben-Ben.

The Taco Bell Chihuahua, a Doberman, and a Bulldog are in a doggie bar having a cool one when a good-looking female Belgian Tervuren comes up to them and says, "Whoever can say liver and cheese in a sentence can have me." Jewlieee, I am on a couple of foster lists, but fostering is used less here and generally needed less, so it's a matter of waiting to see if I'm needed.

Annie...I do think Grrrrradyboy could cheer Ben up. Send him here, I swear I'll send him back.....eventually.

Awwww.... Ben-Ben! Auntie Paige sends smooches.... and the offer of Jada. You will become so tired of her constant wrestling that you will be glad to send her home and have your house all to yourself again.

I think we should all meet here at the farm and help cheer Ben up. And yes, the farm does need a lab - there's a great big pond that is very lonely and Lynn would love a swimming partner. He'd have to race Cord, Ben (my Ben), and Ted to the ball though. How far can he jump into the water? Cord sez, "I jumpies over all U slow dogz heds!"

Failing that, Ben just needs a ball o' white fluff in the house to gnaw on him and jolt him out of his blue funk. I believe we call that shock therapy.

Ben says "I'm like lightning! Border Collies beware, you may not think Labs are fast but you haven't met me! And I can jump FAR into the water, mama would love to do dock jumping with me but the craze hasn't made it here yet."
