    Blind date = Weirdo

Argh So as soon as your single people decide that is such a bad situation to be in and "have" to set you up. Painful. A friend of mine set up me with a guy that her BF knows. We went on our first date he seemed lovely had a cool as dog a boxer/staffy X. He was really good with his dog too. So on the Sunday he invites me to the beach with my dogs and his dog. Was a really nice date I thought he was lovely & seemed sane. Have a few other nice dates, then we have a date at the park with the dogs again. I thought date was going well, I showed him some pics of my horse well looking at those he see a photo that isn't PG if you get what I mean only upper half tho, but the weird thing he never said a thing. I stated that it was old only kept it cause it's nice & when I feel down I look at it, yes I am slightly weird myself hehe. It's private & not normally anyone sees it, infact he wasn't meant to see it I stumbled into it when playing show & tell argh.

Then I said something that my friends BF had said bout him but it was nothing major at all, he flips makes a big deal about, also gets all fired up about something I had told him on our 2nd date which I had forgotten even telling him. I had told him that I wasn't a big fan of my friends BF cause he has hit on me before(like over a year ago) So our date ends with me getting dropped at home, not really sure if he is annoyed with me or Blair(the BF). Then I start getting these random texts accusing me of all sorts of things sleeping with Blair included. He sends texts to Haley(the friend) & Blair causing trouble with all three of us. Luckily they figured out he was a weirdo too. So I end up being labelled a dirty cheating beep & Blair is a lying cheating beep. And Blind date guy is all worried about Haley telling her not to trust us.

What a freak, I think I will stay single for a while hehe. Haley even said at lunch "Oh well will have to find you another nice guy" I responded rather quickly that she's fired from set up duties considering I wasn't looking for a relationship anyway.

Yuck. I had a friend a couple of years ago who continually tried to set me up with freaks, I always found excuses to avoid those lovely 'dates' though. I'm glad your friends believed you and not him, that would've been really fun. Tongue Tied

Yeah exactly I was worried they would believe him but that was quickly not that case. Friends should always stick by friends.

Gee, if they knew enough about him to believe you telling them he was a nut, why did they think it was a good idea to set you up w/ him to begin with?

    • Gold Top Dog

The right guy for you would have understood and just laughed off the picture.  Don't sweat it, but as you said, those friends aren't allowed to set you up any more Wink

They knew him more in a business sense, no more so he has just lost a good business connection not Blair my friends BF the nutta butta has hehe. He seemed lovely & didn't show his true self for over a week. But major trust & anxiety issues I feel for the girl that does get him cause he will never trust anyone I don't think.

Hell I have been cheated on I have some trust issues but not like that. All I need to feel secure in a relationship is a bit of communication & the trust follows.

I hate it when people flip over the stupidest things. Oh well, I guess everyone isn't necessarily who you think they are until it's too late. I hope your future endeavors go much better.
