    Mindless Chatter - Thurs

What a week. 10 zillion meetings and more to go.

The weekend is almost here though!!!

Thank goodness for the weekend, eh?  I will spend part of Saturday doing "Hay Day" at my BF's parents house. Every year his dad orders a truckload of hay, and the guys spend all day stacking it in the barn.  Sounds hot and dirty, but all the guys say it's a great time.  (Maybe because they get fed pretty well? lol)  I would love to stay all day and hang out w/ my favorite horse there, Cheyenne.  However, will be at a volunteer meeting for a fledgling Dobe Rescue that's here in AZ.  YAY!

Gracie's tummy finally seems better.  She actually refused the rice and hamburger (even when I added some extra canned food) - and headed for the food bowl, so I think that's a good sign.  Poor kid.  Hate when they're sick!

I am wearing a very uncomfortable pair of undies today.  They keep riding up.  It's a pain in the butt, literally, to have to keep trying to pull them out of my butt crack.Angry  That is all...

It was probably for the best that I couldn't log on. I got an awful lot more work done but I was going thru withdrawals, so I'm glad it's back up.

Me too! I'm always glad to find out it was the site and not me. It sounds like they've evacuated most all of Butte County and are we ever getting the smoke from that one.  Max hasn't been out for a walk since Sunday morning because of all the smoke and crud in the air. And ... Crying I just opened a $476 PG&E bill - the result of keeping the AC running (even thought the thermostat is  set high at 80/81) and the windows closed. Normally, the AC is off and  the windows are open. I will be sooo glad when all this is over.

well the porch building is done until we get back from our mini-vacation (that would be Tuesday)  Bugsy is so relieved.  He hates having all these people around and not being able to sniff them, the noise doesn't seem an issue but not having the freedom of his yard is!  Tonight I let him out and had to go find him - he was messing around in the shrubs.  So I said come on let's go in and he launched into psycho zoomies waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I'm free!

I've realized that he truly is a need to know sort of guy and has been very anxious - anxious enough that he didn't eat a few meals and didn't poop for a day either.  Just like when we go away.  So the poor guy will have a semi- normal day tomorrow and then we are off to the mountains and he will likely not poop and not eat again.  Silly boy - just needs to relax!

Porch is looking good - will be awesome when done!

Amanda sorry about your knickers but I recall you said you ran with Bevo again - that is great news!

Yea Gracie keep that belly in good order!

Today sucked. Not only do I have students who are like young kids, but I have staff in my room who are like young kids. They don't do there damn jobs, and I get bitched at for it. Frankly, I don't think I should also be responsible for adults, who are being paid to work, doing their jobs. I guess the idea that if I tell them what to do, they should actually do it, is an odd one.

Oh my gosh. I was going nuts because I couldnt get on here until now. This is the first thing I check when I get on. I finally had to leave the house.

    Im not addicted!!

Yikes Joyce! That's brutal. We have City of Roseville for electricity and PG&E only for gas, and electricity is usually about $150 and we just got our PG&E bill today and it was only about $20. Now I'm wondering how bad the next electric bill will be.

Surely "butt" couldn't bring this place to a grinding halt...could it?Zip it!

Karen, I'm happy to hear that the porch project is going well.  I'm sure that it'll look great once complete!  (If Bugs needs a place to runn crazy, insane zoomies, he's more than welcome here until the workers leave.)

Glad to hear that Gracie is doing better.

Joyce & Cathy, I'm doing a little rain dance for the both of you.  Hopefully you will both get some much needed rain to help bring the fires back under control.

I wouldn't think so....but it was the 1st thing I read when I logged back on. We could test the theory. Got anything going on with your bra? Wink

Yes, please do some type of dance or chant or something for us. It really is very miserable with the smoke and heat and the firefighters on the line must be worn thin by now.

Thanks, Amanda.  If we're lucky we might see some rain by Halloween.  A lot of years we don't even get much in the winter, much less in July. Sad
