    I've been feeling very crafty lately, could be due to the fact that the air quality is CRAP ( I'm in Northern California) right now & we're all better off staying inside ( including the dogs!)

     

    So today I recycled a chicken feed bag into a tote - note sure what I'm gonna use it for yet, but I feel better knowing I didn't just toss it in the trash.

     

    Let me know what you think!!  I've only been sewing technically for a week or so, I dont really have any help and no patterns, so theres lots of funny stuff gonig on - I tried to make it as sturdy & neat as possible.

    I love it!! What a great idea. I'm up here choking on the smoke too, but I haven't done anything worth sharing :(

    that looks so cute!!!!  You did an awesome job!

    You can use it at the grocery store :D  You should make totes and sell them!

     thanks! ya i wanted to see if I could even manage to make one!! but I think I will make some more & put them on my etsy.com store

     I wanna make some other things too, any suggestions?>

    I was thinking about quilting a bunch together to make an outdoor doggie bed to go inside of the dogloo's   ( Bella destroys any and all fabrics in the pen - so it least they'd have something, and maybe she wont destroy it!?! lol)

     

    I was also thinking of an apron, lol, other kinds of bags.  the material is strong as long as it doesn't unravel on ya - I double stitched everything on this bag.

    totally!! if i can find them though!! I was oooogling some lady's horse feed at the feed store - they had bright green & bright pink woven bags.

     That's really awesome!  It's Project Runway worthy!  (Remember the episode where they had to use things from the recycling plant?)  Anyhoo!  You should send your pics to Rosie O'Donnell, she'll put you on her vlog!  Big Smile
