Foods that you may not be able to find...

My friend and I got to talking about food, candy, drinks, etc. that you can't seem to find anymore.

Does anyone remember Clearly Canadian water that was flavored? Yum! I loved that stuff when I was younger, especially peach and cherry flavors.

I also thought about the popcorn that we used to eat in school when we were in grade school. It was the kind that was colored (purple, blue, green, etc.) and had different flavors. Not sure if that's in existence anymore but can't find it around here anymore.

Lastly, there was this cookie type food, that I loved when I was in 8th grade or so. It was rectangle shaped, and it had a brown drawing on the front of what I swear was a kangaroo. Inside coating was either chocolate, peanut butter or strawberry but the inside was hollow. Does anyone remember what these were called or what I'm talking about?

Anything else you used to like that seems to have disappeared?

I used to love my grandma's Figurines.  They were diet bars but I thought they were dessert.  Made by Pilsbury I think but I've looked and looked for years and can't find them.  Chocolate was the best but vanilla was good too.  They were wafer type things, kinda like Nutty Buddys.

I remember Clearly Canadian.  Loved them until I realized how much sugar is in them.  Kinda contradicts my sugar confession above huh!  I remember the popcorn too but not being a very big fan of it, I don't miss it.   And I don't have a clue what kagaroo cookies you're talking about.

Ooh I remember the colored popcorn thing you're talking about, I really liked that stuff. I haven't thought about it in a while til now, lol. I can't remember what it's called though.

I use to love munch 'ems, these cracker/chip type snacks I got at Giant Eagle when I was little. I can't find them anymore. : (

I remember Clearly Canadian!  I mostly miss foods from overseas or places I don't live anymore.  KinderEggs and Curry Wurst and this odd type of shrimp cocktail from Germany.  Bialys from NYC and I could get them in CT.  Gigantic, rich, delicious Alaskan King Crab which I had when I was there over New Year's Eve.  YUM!  And a bakery here started carrying these italian butter coookies that I used to only get when I visited NYC.  That's dangerous, I MUST stay away, I can easily eat a pound without even thinking about it!

Now I'm hungry.  For bad things.  Sad
