Kittens are doing great. LIttle grey girl is still a bit shy, as is the other female, but they are coming around. The two males are doing really great and will purr and rub on my arm and want petting. We had them in the garage until the fleas got all killed off and now have their condo in the living room, so they will get used to the goings on of life in the house with 4 dogs and 3 other cats.

Just as I was doing this post, I received a phone call from someone not knowing what to do with a stray pregnant cat. It is never ending. Please people spay and neuter and if you can afford a little extra and have some strays around get some of them spayed and neutered also. I've taken on responsibility of this cat now, as well as the kittens.....not in my home though. The City Shelter will take her for us and if she is friendly enough and appears adoptable, we'll get her spayed. Money doesn't grow on trees for the rescue groups either but we do try to do as much as possible.
So now I'll be on the phone, back and forth, trying to get someone to volunteer to deliver the cat to the shelter for us. We try to at least get people to do the footwork for us, if at all possible. We just can't be running all over the county doing this.
