This is Martini on a hike with me. She almost looks like a dobie here, with her ears up like that.Stick out tongue

We unwillingly surrendered our Boris to E-Vet yesterday because we had no money to pay upfront for his treatment. It broke my heart so we quickly signed up for carecredit that day and got our cat back!  His bill so far is $1,600.

We call him golden boy right now because he cost us so much money,Sad

This dog looks like Dakota.  Poor dog spends most of his day in outside kennel.

Mommie you're not going to eat all that by yourself?

That kitten is so cute. Also very little, I believe.

I have my own golden boy ($2,500 surgery on a 10 year old cat...) but yours looks much nicer ... friendlier than mine though. I'm glad you got him back.

That dog's eyes are amazingly blue, and he reminds me of Dakota too.

Finally, Martini's face looks like Lucky's face in that first picture. She's really cute. Especially scoping out your strawberries.

Wow, you had to pay 2,500 for your kitty?  What kind of surgery did he have? I've never seen any pics of him, you should post some and will see who's kitty is more handsomeStick out tongue.

That kitten is only 1 1/2 weeks old. Here are his brothers. The hands belongs to a little girl so the kitties are not that big.

The mom cat is very pretty.

About Dakota look alike, well we have been passing his small kennel everytime we went hiking in the woods for almost 2 years now and I've never seen that dog being walked.

Is Lucky owned by someone on this board?Smile

He had to have a... very strange operation. Basically he had to be re-plumbed because of chronic bladder infections/blockages. So... he's kind of female now.

    ^Evil Kitty.

Those kittens are so cute! The last time I saw kittens that little was... just over two years ago. That was when I picked out Marie and Pluto. Or... when I first saw them. Little kitten blobs *happiness*.

And yes, Lucky belongs to alittleoffkey on here. I put up some pictures a while ago of Misha playing with Lucky. I think I have his psycho-ears picture around here somewhere... nope. Can't find it right now.

It's funny but my cat has the same problem and might end up with the same surgery soon.  Is the surgery worth it, were there any complications?  I'm kind of scared to cut off Boris's "you know what".

You have to consider certain things. The evil Kitty is very old, and it's looking like this might be his last summer. He's had no complications from the surgery, though. He's a grouch, and he's generally unpleasant - but I love him and all his angst. That said, I would not have paid for the surgery. It's very expensive, and he's very old. If Boris is fairly young, I would say go for it. I actually lost Pluto to complications from a blockage a few Novembers ago (he was 1 1/2). If the option had been available, I might have opted for him to have the surgery. It's actually why EK had it, because my dad didn't want me losing two cats a few months apart.

I wasn't here when the EK had his surgery, but I know they gave my parents special litter and some medication additive for his food. He's fine now, trudging about outside (he lives outside and hasn't even had a problem). It's a few weeks of very careful consideration, then, at least Kitty, seemed to be back to his normal self.
