What do these tests mean?(need Callie)

I need some help figuring out the results of the following, what's the normal range for them?  These are Boris's, he was taken to E-Vet yesterday with a second urethral blockage. I'm contemplating on PERINEAL URETHROSTOMY (penis removal) if he has a third obstruction.

I know the pH of 6.5 is within normal but is it low enought to dissolve struvites?  Is there a supplement I can give him to dissolve struvites in less than a week? He is already 9 days on Hills Prescription Diet s/d formula and Clavamox(antibiotic), Buprenorphine for pain and Prazosin for urethral spasms plus occasional TinkerTonic drops.

Callie if you're out there help me out.

gosh Natalie, I just plain don't know much about cats!!

There are struvite *stones* but no crystals?  ??????? I don't know but I'd think that was ... odd  From everthing I've read usually there are struvite crystals BEFORE they form new stones. (not so with oxalate - those don't show crystals)

have you had an ultrasound done?  So you *know* for sure there are struvite stones?

You've tried a diet switch?  Has the vet had you give Vit C (actual ascorbic acid)

Have you tried a holistic vet?  Specifically my best advice would be to tell you to try a vet who does TCVM.  (traditional Chinese veterinary medicine) -- they do AWESOME things with herbs and acupuncture

http://www.tcvm.com -- that's the Chi Institute and they have a locator on the left (both by state and zip code -- try both unless you are in the 'center' of the state).  I would certainly try that before you do surgery.

Well... blood is usually a sign of infection. Has he been put on a round of antibiotics to rule out a UTI? SG is kind of low too, but not too bad. THe tests we run usually have a bit more information on them - but it all depends on what kind of strips you use.
