Mindless Chatter - Tues

Happy back to work day! :) Well, for everyone except me who still doesn't have a car. But oh well. I'm enjoying a quiet sunny morning with 4 dogs. So, I can't complain.

Once I get back to work I'm going to be totally slammed. I will have 1.5 days to answer 2 weeks worth of emails, do 2 weeks worth of backed up work and get ready for my trip to the UP. I'm going up there to do some training for our new construction staff so handouts, agendas, etc. all have to be taken care of. Good thing I have a great co-worker to help. He's already taken care of most of it.

It's nice to have a computer (my sisters). I can post!!! I'll have to get my comp fixed asap once I get home next week. I miss posting.

I'm having puppy fever badly. I just had to go looking on petfinder and torture myself.

Here's 2 sisters I found that I want to give a home to. I would only bring one home but after all the bad luck I've had this year I dont know if it'd be right to bring a pup into my unlucky home.

**sigh** back to work for me. I think my dogs will be grateful we went back to work. Normally Mon - Fri they sleep from 6AM to 4PM we were go go go for the past 4 days. Lots of exercise, swimming, playing, sunshine....

The top of my head is sunburn (where my part is) it hurts! I never burned the top of my head before last year.

Yesterday it was 85 degrees, today we might hit 60. When I woke up this AM the radio said it was 60 (expected high) when I got out of the shower it was 50. They said it dropped 10 degrees in a half hour! BRRRR!!! It is supposed to warm back up.

Julie you must let us know what they say about your car. The suspense is building!

They are saying that it's a bad ignition switch which is causing the security system to shut down so that the car won't start. Sounds kind of crazy to me...they want $265 to fix it. I'm kind of at their mercy though. bleh

Btw, Dakota ate 2 cans worth of my BILs fish food yesterday. She's such a bad dog!

Bad Dakota! That couldn't have tasted good! Now what are the fish going to eat?! Lol

Well One more day then I'm off to Calgary for a week! WHOOT! Can't wait! The only downside is I'm driving out with my dad BUT he's coming to get me first and drop off my new bed! Sadly Maze won't be coming with me this time as I don't own an airline approved crate, and I'm flying home. I just have her wire one.

Also today's the day BF and I move upstairs to a REAL bedroom and Maze can get her crate back. (She's pouting at it right now as it's folded up by the door waiting to be moved). Sadly We get to sleep on couches tonight in the living due to lack of bed. Lol! Kameo is happy thou seeing as he gets his food counter back and he doesn't have to open the door to get downstairs to eat, although he has trained BF to carry him downstairs just by glowering at him. Lol.

The only downside of today is I've woken up with a MASSIVE migraine that is spreading down my neck. I don't want to take any pain killers for it until I'm done with the heavy lifting. I hope a hot shower will help.. *sigh* I hate having to take prescription morphine for my headaches but nothing else works. I've been fighting these since my 13th birthday! Seriously! *sigh*

my mom used to get really bad migrains - caused by MSG in foods. She stopped eating MSG, and headaches were gone! I know she also had her galbladder removed, but I not sure why.......that was around the same time as the headaches ending, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not.

No working today....my only day off. *sigh* lots to do... and I have got to take the dog to the park, he has got to be going nutty by now! There's been no time to go in the past 2 weeks - I got really sick, then it was too hot, then it rained, poor pup can't catch a break in this house.

We had steak and potatoes for dinner last night, yummy. I'm off to raid the fridge for leftovers =]

My Dr at the time suggested the MSG thing as well but that isn't the case with me. I wish it was since I don't eat MSG anyways. Makes me sick to my stomach. I'm at the point where they've pretty much given up diagnosing what's all medically wrong with me. (Doesn't that make me feel special. Lol) So now they prescribe me painkillers and send me on my way. I really hate the Medical System in B.C!!

Mmm.. Leftovers. I've got turkey leftovers from last night's dinner. Lol. Turkey sandwiches for the next week.

Ok, so now I'm in a bad mood. My really, REALLY annoying neighbor who is like the building's busy body reported that my dogs were barking on April 18th. Well unfortunately my dogs, and me were out of town so hmmmmmmmmm...WTF. This lady kills me, she doesn't work and all she does is file reports about all kinds of stuff, people leaving the door propped open, people parking in the wrong space. Good grief, you would think if this is all she does she could at least get it right. How annoying is that? I've heard everyone complaining about her but this is my first "run in". I'm the last person she should mess with ;0)

It was a day off, but not a pleasant one. Ginger has a broken jaw, so it was a day of vet trips, xrays, and setting up an appointment for Friday for a consult with a surgeon
