    Lynn at Seven Months

Our Mini Cheese Berger is growing up!

Her color is deepening as she replaces her puppy coat with adult coat:

I love how leonine she looks in this - but I've realized it's the "I'm not here" walk of a livestock guardian dog.  More later.

    Spotty tongue!

    Sigh.  Backlit beauty.

    And another just because.

Lynn has two loves in her life.  The kids, and PJ particularly, and the sheep.

She looks like she's herding here, but she's actually experimenting with moving stock around - part of being "stock attentive."  It's something a livestock guardian her age would do.

IdeaHey, there's a lamb separated from her mom here![/i]

Following the flock.  Note the dropped head and shoulder posture.  It looks like a lion because lions use the same posture to walk quietly in a non-threatening manner, around a large herd, scoping out weak animals.

Accidental treasure.  That's Lynn - the right pup at the right time.

she's so wee and cute! I have a suspicion Cleo would love sheep. She often herds the Beagles and is very interested in stopping forward movement of smaller critters, with circling. But we have no where to experiment so she is just a "Hound Herder" LOL.

    She is so pretty!

I saw these pictures and thought I was looking at Cloe, and couldn't recall her being so orange... or having sheep.  I've seen that walk before, Misha does it sometimes (he's part Pyr). I bet he'd love to go live with some sheep or some goats. Misha looks a lot like her.

    Anyway, she's gorgeous.

Yeah, what is it with me and the orange dogs?  And oddly, I've never had a liver colored BC.  I've had lots of tris though - and Lynn is sort of a backwards tri.  Hee!
