New Kitchen Floor (NDR) 4iC

We got our new kitchen floor put in over the past few days and it smells like a new baby doll! LOL Here are some pictures of the process.

Before: Previous to painting being finished and before we removed any furniture:

Some of the old tile is gone. Sticky subfloor beneath. YUCK!

The glue... (It's pressure sensitive and any time in the future, if we need to replace a tile, it pulls right up and another one sticks right in the same glue!)

Their first time "free" in the house for 3 days! (They were perfect, I might add!)

Wow!!! That is truly beautiful and if I were redoing my kitchen or any other area with tile, I'd go with the same one you chose. I love it!!!

My BIL made that table for a porch/picnic type thing. And when they moved, they had no place for it. So he gave it to us and I made it my "sit-down" island and I love it! I sit there and make salads and we sometimes have breakfast there.

We are a bit eclectic in our home furnishing choices. Embarrassed This is our (imported) dinette set (that Cara and Mia initiated with their teething Angry ), though we rarely use it. I'm going to paint this wall dark green like the countertops. (That frig is gone and we won't be putting the small table or the desk back into the kitchen)

That wall is very cool! I can't wait to see it painted with the desk and fridge gone.

I like the look of the two tables together. I wouldn't change that if it was in my house.

I'd love to have a large kitchen like that...one day when I can finally "save" up for the addition I am planning..of course the dogs will see to it that the savings are used for them :)

The new floor looks very nice - I love the colors, and they go great with your walls! I liked the darker one you were looking at too, but I think this is the better choice. Yes
