Please Help! Should I report this...?

I was standing outside, I saw these little kids running after their dog appearly it gotten out. Then I saw adult man coming outside, the dog fears for his life, it cowards on the ground as if he was coming to kick the living **** out of him. Then I see the man picking up the dog by the collar the front paws off the ground, & I watch poor dog being drag on the ground & 4 paws being lift off the ground.  My mom told me they have drug burst at the house, the men usually are drunk late at night or during the day. Should I report these men?Jennifer

I'd report it.  But, you should leave out the kicking the living sh*t out of the report, or find a more appropriate word to use in its place.

Definately report it! That`s just disgusting; the things people do to animals. I`m sure theres a special place in hell for those kind of people.

Ask yourself what would happen if you DID report this, then ask yourself what would happen if you DID NOT report this.  The man may be upset at having to answer to the authorities about animal neglect/cruelty but you may very well save this dog's life.  When you call, I would strongly urge you to be calm, and use clean language with them so that they will take you very seriously.  I personally think you would be doing a very good thing to report this.   Jules

I agree with everyone else - report it.  I know the poor dog needs someone to stand up for it.

I would report it, and if you can try and remain anonymous due to the fact you stated there are drug busts going on there, who knows what they're on and what state of mind they're in.....

Well, geeeeeeeze Billy!!  Most public officials aren't gonna respond all that well to vulgarity or profanity........just trying to be helpful!

Yeah, using profanity makes you sound less serious and in some cases even ignorant. Best left out of a conversation with the police.

If it makes you feel safer, asking them to keep you anonymous is a good idea. Especially since they live close to you and you said they have been doing drugs. That`s what I would do.

Do you even need to ask this question??  Yes, report him.

Ok folks,
I have a feeling that Jennifer is a young lady who is seeking advice, sure we all know (as adults now) how we should talk to people and authority figures. But we are all passionate and I believe Jennifer is too and maybe isn't sure to what extent she should proceed.

Jennifer,
We all are a passionate group of animal lovers and feel the same as you. Please keep in mind we try to limit our use of profanity and find other words to express our anger and passions even in describing that the dog might be getting a beaten near to death...see what I'm saying?

Thanks!

Please do report this, but not to the police.  Try to contact your local humane law enforcement agency or SPCA.
