    Mindless Chatter - Monday

This weekend felt kind of long so that's cool

I got a lot accomplished as far as yard work goes. I even started to clean out the garage.

These next few weeks are going to be seriously busy. I get my blackberry today though so at least I can keep up on emails.

Today is looking like it's going to be beautiful out! Super sunny and cool this morning but it'll probably get near 70 like yesterday. Very nice :)

I had a busy weekend but they NEVER seem long enough.

My trainer where I keep my horse has a second horse for me to ride for a bit. I am hoping at least the next 3 weeks but I know I have him for at least this week. YIPPEE!!! I want more horses to ride, so I can get back in shape too. After riding two on Friday and Saturday I found muscles I forgot I had.

Yesterday was the bridal shower. It was very nice Tim and Beth got A LOT of presents.

My house is a disaster area. I need a house keeper. I plan to at least start laundry tonight but Belle has agility at 7 so I won't get much done. It is supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon. I kind of hope it does I won't feel as guilty about not getting my dogs out I MUST clean my house.

I am so tired today.  Pretty much all weekend was spend playing/watching bf play grand theft auto 4 lol.  It was fun though.

But I reallllly don't want to be here at work today!  I am very unmotivated!

I'm so sore!  I took Kenya on a 2.5 mile walk yesterday and it was a long time b/c I was training a new command.  Then, I ran for an hour straight on my elliptical, heart rate 159.  Before that, I had vacuumed my entire house twice and I got Coke a Big Dog Stake for his tie-out, which required a LOT of brute strength to get in the ground.  I feel like Jello.

It's only 8:45 and people are already annoying me.  Some lady calls b/c her computer won't turn on.  OK, fine, that's a high priority.  I tell her someone will be out this morning (our "normal" turn around is 5 days) and then she asks why someone can't come NOW.  Well, because I've only got one kid working and she's doing EMERGENCY work orders right now (classroom problems, which take precedence over staff "high" b/c we are an educational institution).  Then she asks if my boss is in, like he can bump her up or something.  Hello, only one tech is working!  What does she want us to do, pull another technician out of our butts?  I told her boss man was in a meeting, which was the truth, but sometimes I lie even when he's at his desk, to spare him the troubles.

Hopefully she'll be the only bad part of the day!  Those kind of people drive me nuts at work, because their situation is always the most crucial and important thing on the face of the earth.  It's always funny when the odd ones ask to speak to my boss, because then I get to be like "I AM the boss"...that's right, they're stuck. Stick out tongue

It is GORGEOUS outside today!  My mom and sisters and I are meeting up at the dog park later.  They've actually never been to one, and hopefully it'll be a fun experience.  And DH and I are going out to get my new phone today!  I'm almost positive that I'm getting the T-Mobile Dash...you can peek at it here.  I was interested in the Motorola Q for a while, but T-Mobile's not getting it, and the Dash had better ratings than the Q anyways.  New techie toys are so much fun!

I HATE TICKS!!!  I went hiking last night with a friend and the dogs and found two ticks on me: one my friend flicked off of my shirt and the other was one of those tiny seed ticks that  I found imbedded in my hip when i took a shower last night.  I wore the same jeans today and just squished one that was crawling across my stomach (another see tick). Ewwwwwwww.

Now it's off to the insurance agent's office to discuss how my marriage will affect car and renters rates...wish me luck!

Nolan has had diarrhea  for over 24 hours now. We go to the doctor in half an hour but I'm super worried about him getting dehydrated. I'm making him nurse hourly just in case. Poor baby.

Exactly!  Once a student came in and asked to drop off a computer for diagnostics.  I said it would be 3-5 days and they demanded to know why I could not do it immediately.  That time, I actually pointed to my cabinet and said, "b/c I have 6 other computers in there with the same problem as yours and they got here first."

My dogs are gluttons.  One big knuckle bone was gone in about 15 mins.  That sucker was like 7 inches across.  Guess we'll be seeing nasty BMs for a while.  Ate themselves right out of a run in the park.  (No way are they getting a long run after consuming that much crap!)
