Guess what I got? (Wii related)

My DH dragged me around on a fruitless search last night for a Wii Fit. Eventually we gave up and came home, but this morning he went out to run an errand and found the LAST ONE in stock at a video game shop in the centre of town. This thing has been sold out everywhere for a week, we actually got laughed at last night in one shop when we asked if they had any.

But, we are now the proud owners of a Wii Fit, and it is really FUN! Cheaper than a home gym, too!

Edit: The sight of my DH's Mii in a ski suit is inexplicably hilarious. And this balance board really is a clever piece of kit.

I didn't know they were even out yet! It's totally on my to-buy list as soon as I get a job....

They may not be out there yet, we got Mario Kart in England before the USA got it, same may be true of the Fit. But I can't recommend this thing highly enough, it's dead clever the way it can tell where your body is, and it's not an easy workout at all for the average person. I am reasonably fit and was worried that it wouldn't be a challenge, but it is. You also start out with some basic stuff, and as you work through those you unlock more exercises and activities, which gives incentive to keep at it if you're competitive like me.

We have been dying to get a Wii. And I seen the Wii Fit so I really want one now. Waiting on that money the gov. supposed to send and we're getting one. I want that wheel too!!

You got Wii Fit! I'm so jealous!! I want it so bad, but DH can't justify buying it, but...he can justify a new $400 xbox 360 and grand theft auto IV that he decided to buy for himself yesterday...errrrrrr!! Angry

Lani chick, you've got to get a Wii, and the Fit, and Mario Kart! You can send me your Mii and it will kick footballs (soccer balls to you) at my head in one of the balance games on the Fit, and we can race each other on the Kart.

Forget your gym membership, you know you want to.......besides, getting to a scheduled yoga class is a pain, when you can do it in the comfort of your living room! Wink
