    Could someone please tell me

why Zpuppy has to take ALL the toys out of the toy box 3 minutes after i just picked them up?  It's like "Yipppeee, mom picked up the toys, so I can take them out again."  I mean she wasn't playing with any of them before I put the up.

She's trying to tell you that the toys belong on the floor?

Max does the same thing.  It seems like he's happiest when all the toys are spread out and he can sprawl right in the middle of them.  Whatever toy he wants is right there ... all he has to do is roll over.

Dubs favorite thing is to empty the toy box and dig in it.  As if more are hiding.  It is a great energy release for him and as long as he is digging in that rather than the mud I am happy!

Tootsie does this also. Infuriating, but cute.

Hmmmmm 9 rrs and each has 4-5 toys and 3-4 favorite big bones.... 5 grandkids who apparently own a toystore as it is scattered all over my home.   yep, chances of my ever having a tidy house again ZERO.   "Cute"  sigh ...that was not the decorating look I had shot for but I'll take it over cluttered today....

My poms does that too, after playing with a toy I pick it up & they pick it up again then they don't even play with up I think because dogs just like to have them in sight where they can keep an eye on it, maybe it's their territorial nature kicking inSmile

Joey does it too.  I think he thinks the toy box is a black hole and if anything goes in, it might not come back out.  Better to 'save' them from certain doom cause who knows when he might want to play with that green rubber ball he never liked to begin with.

Hahaha - my Z doesn't even let the toys get picked up; she steals them as I carry them to the toy box.  Only one out of three makes it in.

Of course at my house the open toy box is on top of the closed toy box (I rotate toys when I think of it), so in order for the basenjis to get to the toy box, they have to stand on the arm of the sofa, which sometimes involves standing on the malinois.  I don't know if she always wants the toy on the bottom of the box, or just keeps seeing toys she wants more.  "Oh, this one! no, wait this one.  No this is the one."

And for the record, Bonita, I never said my house was neat.  I was just picking up dog toys.  My toys are still scattered all over the place.  (Dog toys are easier to deal with b/c they have a place.)
