Where are all the cute shoes???

So it's spring, therefore I MUST buy a new pair of cute sandals.  What the heck...I can't find anything decent for a decent price (under $40) online.  Any of the ladies out there care to share their secret shoe sources? Stick out tongue

Looking for something casual, not dressy, if that helps.

I have never seen a cute pair of shoes for less than $500.  Sorry, I can't help.  ;)

    Have you tried Zappos online?

You could go for a nice pair of used light blue muck boots from Hunter at a thrift store...originally those babies go for $100! Sorry, couldn't resist, in a strange mood.

You walk into a shoe store with a hundred and fifty bucks, you come out with one shoe!

I don't know about you but everything I find is either trashy or too much like something an 'old lady' would wear.  Surely there's a middle ground!  Why does everything have to be five inch heels too???  I'm not graceful enough to wear those.  I've been searching for a decent pair of black sandals I can wear to work for a VERY. LONG. TIME.  I'll even pay a little more than normal if I could just find the right pair but noooo.  So until then, it's ballet flats with just about everything.  I'm getting quite the collection of those.

Tell me about it.  Everything seems to be for the under-18 or over-100 age groups!  *sigh* I was trying to avoid actually going to a store to look, but I've had zero luck online, and the stores usually have more options than their online versions.  I did find some online I liked, but they didn't have them in my size, so maybe I'll have better luck at the store.

I buy my sandals at PayLess in the boys department.  Boys/mens sandals are the only ones that seem sturdy enough to wear to take a dog for a nice walk in.  All the womens sandals seem more dressy and have straps that's don't seem very sturdy. I don't think I've ever paid more than about $15 for a pair. Billy, somebody needs to show you where and how to shop. Big Smile Just remember Ladies ... if you buy boys/mens sandals, be sure to get them 1-1/2 sizes smaller than you'd usually wear.

Good idea for everyday wear.  For these sandals, though, I'm looking for something a little less casual.  My grandmother is turning 90 in a couple weeks, and we're having a little party for her.  Nothing fancy, I'm just wearing a nice top and capris, so I'm looking for something to go with that outfit.  I'm always looking for an excuse to buy more shoes.  Just like buying more dog stuff...it gets addictive!

I purchased 2 pairs of sandals in the last month or so and I love them both. One pair I got at Target for about $20 and the other pair I bought at Mervyns on sale for $24.99.  I'm really rough on my shoes, especially sandals, so I don't like to spend big bucks on them. Both pairs can be worn with a sundress, shorts, capris, jeans, etc. and they're both comfortable - yay!

Funny, I was thinking the same thing about this season's clothing.  Either it's stretch cotton in neon colors for teenagers, or it's giant blousy tops that make the circus Big Top look like an ant's house.  Us petite folks do NOT need to be swarming in fabric, but I refuse to wear teenager-inspired clothes to work!  Not appropriate.

Zappos for shoes pulls from so many different manufacturers that you should get a decent selection.  Good luck!

I get most of my shoes at Target. I've always love the sandles and things - very cute and comfy =]
