Oh!  Poor Meri!  Stupid bug!  Did you squash it?  Thats where I draw the line with wildlife...

I put the tray on the floor for the dogs to clean off now.  They got overzealous too about cleaning it when she was in there so we adopted the gate for meals and tray on the floor for cleanup.  BTW, my mom was mortified that I let the dogs clean off the tray...Like I don't wash it afterwards, just stick it right back on the chair....Hmm yes mom, thats how I do the dishes too..wanna stay for dinner?

I love that last pic. Smile You can just feel the "Please drop it,  please drop it" vibes coming from Scout.

Those are wonderful photos -- I love them!!  The look on Scout's face is so intense, like he's sending mental telepathy vibes so the cracker will leap out of Meri's hands and land in his mouth!  I love the one with his eyes so big and wide.  I'll bet you'll win a prize if you enter them in that contest!

I see nothing wrong with the "pre-rinse" cycle for dishes or the high-chair tray.  It's environmentally friendly to save water and let the dogs clean up crumbs before the final washing!  Our dog used to park himself by the dishwasher as the table was being cleared -- we got a couple strange looks from guests, so we only let him do it when we had no guests or guests who were also dog-weird!! Stick out tongue

Max does this too.  As soon as DS takes his plate from the table to the dishwasher, Max is right there.  Sometimes he cleans the plate or bowl, and sometimes he gets to eat right off the open dishwasher door. Smile It's a favorite dining spot.
