adding pics to post

Hi, am new and have done introduction. I looked around to try to find how to add pics to the post, but have been unsuccessful in locating any info advising how do accomplish this task. Help? I got a sort of "link" to a post, but could not go there when I clicked the link. I have been able to add pics to my album section. Confused

Thank you Truley for quick response. I read through that topic, but did not see mention of how to add pic to post. Guess as a newby, am somewhat slow to grasp what is needed. I will probably keep trying though.

Long story short, you need to have your pictures in a host, like flickr or photobucket and then get the HTML code to post them here.

the link from photobucket (the one I use) will start with:

(IMG) and end with (/IMG)

when you post it you need to make the "img" letters small. so it should look something like this:

(img)yourphotolinkhere(/img)

keep trying, you will get it!

Guess have been spoiled. The other forum am on, can post pics from my album (equivalent to the gallery here). Guess will have to go to photobucket and try again when have more time. Thanks for the info.
