    Was it a Bird? (Obama)

Was he throwing the bird at Hillary? It seems that the audience seems to think he was since the laughter starts up once his hand goes up to the side of his face. What do you think?

What do I think? The audience is cheering/laughing at what he's saying... That Senator Clinton was "in her element". I can't believe people have made an issue of this. Well, then again, yes I can. Obama can't blow his nose without his opponents reading some evil intent into it. LOL

And here I was thrilled that political threads had disappeared for a while Stick out tongue

Honestly? Yes, I think he was flipping the bird. Subtly, so as not to really be caught. Intentionally creating ambiguity. Who knows, maybe it was a smart PR move to "humanize" him a little bit. Or maybe he just gesticulates more with his middle finger (I've known many people who do - scratching, pointing, whatever). Either way, I don't really care, and it certainly wouldn't affect my voting choices!

Huh?  I don't even see him flipping the bird...

That is why I asked the question, this has been talked about for days and today was the first chance I had to view it.  If he is flipping the bird it is subtle and hard to tell for sure. The audience reaction could be showing that he is, or it could be like Four says.

Also I was not posting it for political reasons, nor to influence voters, I just was curious about what others saw. As a conservative who really does not care for Obama I thought the clip does not show what I expected to see based off of the reporting about it.

Well then I don't see it.  He scratched at his face.  Oh well.  I do that too, and a lot of other things w/ my middle finger at the moment since my pointer was pinched putting a bike together.  Not to mention, some people just use that finger, or their ring finger, or pinky...
